A series of artworks created as key visuals for the exhibition Dark Matters at Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester.
Limited Edition Art Prints available
Inspired by the title of the show, FIELD conceived a series of digital gemstones, with letterforms shining through with an obscure translucency.
The gemstones are generated using a physical simulation of molten rock that collides with an exterior, typographic shell. The expansion and compression of the “dark matter” within its shell creates abstract and suggestive structures of an intricate detail.
