Vera-Maria Glahn
Vera is a designer and project manager with a background in cultural management and curatorial work.
She has co-designed and exhibited interactive installations, audiovisual performances, and videos, both as independent and commissioned works. Vera and Marcus have collaborated since 2006 and founded FIELD in January 2009.
Before teaming up, she worked as a producer and curator of media arts, performance and film, and initiated events and facilitator projects. From 2003 to 2007, she curated and produced the Audiovisual Performance program of the annual Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival. In 2006 and again in 2007 she joined the V2_Institute for the Unstable Media in Rotterdam as freelance curatorial and productional assistant to the curators.
She studied Visual Communication with Joel Baumann (tomato) and Bernard Stein (Ott+Stein, MetaDesign) at the School of Arts and Design in Kassel and graduated with distinction in February 2009.
